LOCUM Physiotherapist Aged Care
NHILL, VIC (Part-Time / Full-Time Options)

We are currently looking for a Locum Physiotherapist for a Part-Time or Full-Time opportunity to support a number of our Aged Care providers based in regional Victoria in Nhill & St Arnauds
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in Aged Care, General Registration with AHPRA and access to a car (preferably) to facilitate a quick commencement. The position will commence in January and end in April. There may be opportunities to extend this into an ongoing role for the right candidate.

We are seeking local Physiotherapists, ideally with experience working in the Aged Care sector, but we are open to those who are new to and looking to transition to this sector. As we enter an exciting period of growth and change across the aged care sector, we are looking for those who embrace this change and want to help shape the growth and development of our service in addition to their clinical role.

Broadly, our group works in aged care facilities and in the community across VIC, TAS, NSW, QLD & WA, improving the quality of life for thousands of aged care clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform comprehensive assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care.
Correspondence with residents, families, nursing, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners, case managers and equipment suppliers
Prescribe and review exercises, including leading group sessions.
Develop tailored care plans with the broader clinical team.
Manage your daily schedule, balancing clinical and non-clinical tasks.
Contribute to ongoing professional development through mentoring and team events.
Deliver falls prevention workshops, manual handling training, and staff education.
Qualifications and Skills
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Current Driver’s Licence
National Police Certificate and NDIS Check/Working with Children Check.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team
